Like any home or building, every website needs a solid foundation for development.

Analysis and planning

This includes some pre-development steps, such as looking over any existing site, if one exists, to see what works and what doesn't. We then work on a overall strategy for the new site, including a content strategy that establishes a purpose for each section of the site. We then make a plan for how the content should be created, whether by the client or with our assitance. This sets the climate for the rest of the project.

Webhosting

If the client has an existing webhosting service, then our websites can work with most hosting companies out there, with few exceptions. Otherwise, we can present a number of options for a webhosting solution where we will walk through the process of setting up a webhosting account. After the webhosting service is setup, we will take care of the process of setting up the new site on the webhosting space.

E-mail services

Often, when clients create a new domain (www.somedomain.com), they want to use E-mail accounts that also use that domain (someone@somedomain.com). We can present various options for E-mail services, as well as setup those services for our clients.

Backups

Backing up data is vital for any website, and most webhosting services do not include automatic data backup with their plans. For every website that we build, we present our clients with multiple options for data backup. This way, our clients can be sure their website content will be safe if there are ever service outages.
